C40 Arup Megacities report

For the first time ever, major cities around the globe have a new tool for measuring progress on climate change and a template for taking effective action - and it is all down to the commitment and expertise of the C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group and Arup.

The C40 represents a group of large cities around the world that have joined together to drive sustainable policies to help address climate change concerns.

Arup have advised the C40 for several years and were commissioned by the current chair, New York City Mayor, Michael Bloomberg, to prepare a report that would set a framework for cities to build toward a low-carbon future.

As a result, Arup published Climate Action in Megacities: C40 Cities Baseline and Opportunities - launched as part of the C40 Cities Climate Leadership Summit in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
