Sérgio Pimenta, newly appointed East Asia and Pacific director for the International Finance Corporation, believes investment decisions need to be informed by a broader knowledge of the context in which they are being made. While sustainability has been rising up the business agenda, he feels there is more work to be done on the reporting side in order to maximize information flows increase innovation.
