Malaysia Salcon’s secures China wastewater deals

Malaysia's Salcon Berhad has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary Salcon Changzhou (HK) Limited, has entered into concession and asset transfer agreements with the city of Changzhou in Jiangsu Province to acquire, upgrade, operate and maintain the Southeast Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant.

The plant is being acquired on a Transfer-Operate-Transfer basis for USD9.2 million. The acquisition is expected to contribute positively to Salcom's future earnings and is estimated to generate USD152.5 million of total revenues during the 30-year concession period.
