Tianwei New Energy, a subsidiary of Baoding Tianwei Group, has formed a strategic partnership with Pairan to supply the German PV firm with 280MW of solar modules over the next two years. The modules will be produced at Tianwei New Energy's new 500MW production plant. Although the 164.74-acre site was only opened last August, plans are already underway to expand annual capacity to 1.5GW by 2012, a move that would make it the world's largest integrated module factory.
"The framework agreement with the German company Pairan is the beginning of a long-term cooperation with each other," Tianwei New Energy general manager Ma Jianjun said. "We trust that we can supply the best production with a high quality, a high service and the most competitive price."Upcoming Events
