As part of its 12th Five-Year-Plan, Beijing is set to approve a new-energy vehicle development plan aimed at making the country the global leader in energy conservation and new-fuel autos over the coming 10 years, powered by an initial package of government funding as high as RMB100 billion (USD15 billion).
